Formerly known as Forty Under 40, the Emerging Leaders Under 40 program honors bright, dynamic young professionals under 40 across South Carolina who demonstrate significant professional accomplishment, a strong work ethic, and a steadfast commitment to public service and community stewardship. Honorees were selected by a judging panel composed of prior-year honorees and the SCBiz leadership team.
Built on Hard Work and Industry Experience
For those who know Bryan, this recognition comes as no surprise. His journey in the Lowcountry construction industry wasn't built on shortcuts, it is the result of over two decades of hands-on experience and dedication. Bryan began his career in the industry at just 15 years old working for a local building supply company. Over the years, he advanced through various roles with national homebuilders, developing a deep mastery of both the craftsmanship and the complex business logistics behind homebuilding.
Under his leadership, Ragland Homes has grown from producing just a few homes a year to building over 25 custom homes for Lowcountry families in 2026 alone. What started in the Summerville metro area has expanded into a footprint spanning six Lowcountry counties.
